Leading Regional Theatre Adds To Console Inventory

Following their purchase of a new DiGiCo SD10 in 2012 the West Yorkshire Playhouse have taken delivery of a DiGiCo SD9, principally for use in their Courtyard theatre, the smaller of the two performance spaces at the Leeds venue.

Their latest acquisition also included two DiGiCo D-Racks and an optical SD-Rack, all of which are fully compatible with both control surfaces and their existing inventory of expansion cards. This provides a comprehensive ‘toolbox’ of connectivity and routing options that can be quickly and easily configured to suit any production and location. It also provides the facility to link the two consoles in a front-of-house / monitors configuration for larger musical events in the main ‘Quarry’ theatre.

The first show on the new console was ‘My Generation’ which ran throughout October, written and performed by Chumbawumba (perhaps best known for their 1997 hit ‘Tubthumping’).
